As part of the inaugural aquatics team of the newly built Cockburn ARC, I was an integral component of establishing customer service relationships to retain customers. My work was deemed to be exceptional by center management, who quickly promoted me to a senior role including to a duty manager position. In this role I, along with several team members, were awarded with Gold Star Medallions for bravery during a particularly stressful and dangerous rescue incident while on duty.

Began my career in aquatics as a lifeguard at Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre, before being trained and promoted to a pool operator/duty manager position after my first year. This job taught me a variety of skills, including customer service and plumbing maintenance requiring various hand and power tools.
