Mark also sits on the BOH’s Budget Sub-Committee, providing perspectives on strategic planning around budgetary needs of Arapahoe County Public Health. The Board of Health is the governing agency for Arapahoe County Public Health and works closely with the public health director, chief medical officer, and health department legal counsel. Leads an amazing team of approximately 15 air and water quality subject matter experts. Through an experienced, passionate, and committed team we foster environmental stewardship across the City on a broad range of air and water quality matters such as regional air and water quality planning, regulatory oversight, our Love My Air program, lake and stream sampling, mosquito control, etc.; and, regularly interact with programs and staff on other city/state/federal teams.
