WGB’s mission is to support women and children in crisis, and build their confidence and self-esteem, by providing great quality clothing at no cost, assisted by caring and committed volunteers who offer personalized service and interaction.Provides overall administration and management of operations. Oversees delivery of services, activities and fundraising that best support the Agency’s mission and long-range goals. Ensuring continued growth by developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with nonprofits shelters, government agencies and community human services organizations throughout the Greater Washington Metro area. Implement and manage administrative and operational policies and processes and managing fulfillment and reporting required for grants received. Actively recruit, engage, lead and motivate volunteers to ensure effective completion of daily operations, communications, projects, and tasks. Manages donor and volunteer management databases ensuring the best utilization of software systems to establish and meet program outcomes.Works closely with a dynamic working Board of Directors providing support where needed. Work under supervision of the Board Executive Council to keep board members aware of organizational progress and direction through monthly and annual board meetings. Support Board Committees, as need. Identifies opportunities for additional program development and enhanced supportive services.
