When I was in primary school my teachers informed my parents that they felt I might be behind the other kids. They learned I didn't seem to perform very well on my own yet, I massively excelled paired up with others.It took me a long time to realise that this would become my biggest asset in advertising and marketing. Throughout my 12+ year career, I have organically fallen into managerial roles without realising.Why? Because I just love working in teams and with other people. I love the rush of uncovering what makes people tick, anticipating the needs of a team, understanding their wants and responding so that everyone has an environment where they can excel. For me, there is no better feeling than defining a common goal and getting everyone rowing in the same direction.Knowing this today, ultimately sums up what I now do as a brand consulting creative director and agency owner. That drive to understand people, anticipate their needs and give them an articulated idea to rally behind, forms the core foundations required to orchestrate truly thoughtful brands and marketing experiences. This forms part of our customer centric approach at Unrattled and something I am proud to champion. Some may find it difficult to pigeon hole me because of my broad skillset.
