Cecily's Fund supports orphans and vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS in Zambia. Our work started in 1997 in memory of Cecily Eastwood who was tragically killed in a road accident in Zambia during her gap year. She had been working with a local organisation supporting young orphans. Our mission is to enable orphans and vulnerable children to go to school. Supporting children to succeed at school. Preparing for life beyond school. Strengthening community support for children's education.

CAH is an award winning residential/life skills centre providing long term rehabilitation and accommodation each year for over 200 single homeless people, many with complex needs. Every quarter we record thousands of visits from members of the community, accessing a range of courses. Recently Oxford Economics undertook a Social Return on Investment report (SROI). highlighting that for every pound invested, there was a 390% return back to society. We are a thriving Chamber in a vibrant area of London, Newham has been the host borough of the London 2012 Olympic/Paralympic Games and is now seeing massive redevelopment in the Olympic Park. Other major attractions, London City Airport, the Emirates Cable Car, Siemens Crystal Building and Excel Centre as well as the vibrant and dynamic regeneration of the Royal Docks with a mixture of business and housing.

Gamesmaker for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games - volunteered in the Ceremonies Team as part of the Casting team supporting the performers in all four Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Also volunteered as a Gamesmaker in the Transport team based at The International Broadcasting Centre on the main Olympic park during the Paralympics.

Street Child Africa is one of the leading UK charities dedicated to entirely supporting street children in Africa. We work with African agencies funding them directly. We currently support ten projects in seven countries across Sub Saharan Africa. We work in Ghana, Uganda, Senegal, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Nigeria and Mozambique. We support front line African agencies that train trustworthy adults to seek out and befriend the hundreds of street children found in any major African city. We offer them medical and nutritional help, education (often street corner education) baby care and vocational sponsorship so they have the chance to get a better life. Every year thousands of children leave their villages to go to the city to find education and work. There is no infra structure. They end up frighte ned, abused, neglected, malnourished, resorting to drugs and crime in some instances. girls get raped and have 2nd generation street children. There are many reasons why children are driven into the cities but it can be from avariety of reasons - climate change, famine, drought, conflict, loss of parents and extended family due to HIV/AIDs.

Established corporate events including an over- subscribed annual golf tournament. Looked after Tesco partnership when Tesco adopted Help the Hospice as Charity of the Year. Ran the London Marathon for Compton Hospice in 2004.

During 2000 co-ordinated £300,000 appeal to fund a Palliative Care Nurse for Horton Hospital and Katherine House Hospice in Banbury. We were supported by The Banbury Guardian and The Banbury Business Breakfast Networking Club. In 2001 co-ordinated £800,000 appeal to fund 4 Macmillan Nurses in Oxford. Recruited a committee to support the Oxford appeal. Other duties; led on local trust fundraising, local corporate fundraising and organized one major fundraising event, the Celebration of Christmas concert in Oxford working with a prestigious committee and celebrity readers. Co-ordinated and increased income year on year for Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning. Looked after 6 committees. Gave talks to schools, colleges and groups and organisations. Supported a wide variety of local fundraising events. Designed annual budget based on both short term and long term strategic fundraising objectives.
