I managed Linux servers (OEL, CentOS, oVirt/RHEV, ESXi, Docker, AWS, GCP, Puppet, Splunk) and storage allocation (NetApp, PureStorage, EMC) for the company.

I handled service requests specializing in the Linux OS and networking communication. These issues would range greatly due to the wide scope of specialization.

I advanced from regular Technical Support and Senior Web Advisor. In the previous positions I assisted customers directly with technical support as it concerns their hosting accounts whether it be a shared server, vps, reseller, or dedicated server(all CentOS, mainly Apache and some Nginx, both using php and mySQL). As a Level 2 I assisted the lower positions when they are unable to resolve the issue or an escalation is involved. I resolved issues of DNS, email configuration, server errors, and gave advice to optimize sites and improve their experience.

I worked initially as a customer support representative, after 3 months moved up to a Team Lead and after another month became the acting supervisor of another project. The project I was Team Lead over performs customer support calls for short term loans, I would take 2 hours of calls a day and then perform supervisory duties and take escalated calls. The other project I was in charge of had three agents in charge of taking customer support calls for debt consolidation loans. I developed the training material for the new project.

I installed ADA Operators, security systems for companies such as IHC and wireless internet for various companies. I performed many service calls in which I analyzed and troubleshooted broken systems or electronic door devices and fixed them. Moved from cable puller, to new installations, to troubleshooting existing devices within a year.
