Special education teacher in central Indiana for 3yrs at the elementary level. I am starting my 9th year as an educator in a new and exciting SPED position on the secondary level working with students in the classroom and direct resources services in the SPED room. I am proud to say that I teach my scholars how to take ownership in their learning through progress monitoring and they are responsible for managing their personal data binders where they track their progress. My scholars attend their annual case conferences where they are able to communicate their IEP progress on goals, testing data with their parents and stakeholders.

As parents to two college students, my wife and I spent 8+ years guiding our two kids towards college by researching different careers, college visits, ACT/SAT test taking analysis, and a myriad of other activities to help them prepare for college / life after high school. These experiences have become the curriculum for CCES today. Through a lot of hard work, lessons learned, and success, we now help other students prepare for life after high school. CCES works with students from the end of 8th grade through high school graduation by teaching them how to conduct research on career opportunities, financial literacy, living skills for life after high school, and college preparedness through in-depth analysis in the process steps to get accepted and $$$ funded.

I worked with one of FWISD's most amazing principals (Ms. Cole) where I taught 3 years in the classroom as a 2nd grade self-contained teacher. Also worked 3 years as a summer school teacher, and created CCES for students that participated in after-school programing for 3 years.In 2018-2020 I became a special education teacher for pull-out and push-in support and was promoted up by Ms. Cole.
