Business Owner 2017 - PresentI created CCES (Career and College Exploration for Students) for the purpose of helping scholars prepare for that ultimate decision: what kind of lifestyle do they want to live after high school, and what career will help them get there? From here the third question becomes does that career require a college education? This journey started 8+ years ago when my wife and I started guiding our 2 kids down that path towards college. Everything we learned from campus tours, internships, social media, ACT / SAT prep became the CCES curriculum used today to guide new scholars to their dreams of what life could be like for them after high school. CCES is a versatile company that operates virtually in a small collaborative group setting. We provide direct instruction on research methodology, academic accountability, career and college exploration. We are open to ANY student that is intrinsically motivated and curious about life after high school. (since 2020)Education Career 2015 - 2020I have been a Special Education teacher for 5yrs with a total of 8+ years of teaching experience. I started out in Fort Worth ISD (Stop 6) Sunrise McMillan Elementary as a 2nd grade self-contained teacher for 3yrs before becoming a SPED teacher. I also worked 3 years as a summer school teacher, 3 years in the after-school programs where CCES was initially started. Another really cool achievement was coaching 7-8th grade football and being one of the assistant coaches at the high school level for Young Men's Leadership Academy in Fort Worth ISD, after my normal teaching hours at Sunrise McMillan.
