Responsible for performing the day- to-day general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas • Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries for assigned functional areas • Routine communication with Supervisors relating to financial close, issues and deliverables • Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned functional areas • Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations • Responsible for the preparation and analysis of the periodic management reporting of financial results for assigned functional areas • Prepare all Financial Reporting requirements package • Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules • Prepare journal entries related to assigned functional responsibilities • Maintains and enhances forecasting models • Prepares in-depth cause and effect analysis on a variety of complex financial issues • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance • Cross train as back-ups for other staff in the case of emergencies

Motivate, develop and provide leadership to employees responsible for disbursement funding, union payments and the distribution of checks • Oversee the Purchasing, Payroll and Corporate Card programs for all cardholders in the US Airways organization and Express Station management • Expand the scope of and grow user volume of the Purchasing Card and other virtual payment programs within the company • Manage the monthly posting of PCard transactions into the general ledger • Analyze business processes and define or modify procedures to ensure proper controls • Provide miscellaneous support functions to other areas of the Disbursement Accounting organization as necessary

Program Administrator for Corporate and Purchasing Card programs • Responsible for cardholder support and transaction authorization decisions • Provide reconciliation assistance to cost centers • Process late payment reports for the Corporate Card program and follow protocol for non-compliance and misuse • Provide training and end-user support to cardholders and coordinators • Assist with proper disbursements of checks processed by Payroll and AP • Maintain inventory and audit payroll cards issued to various stations/departments • Execute the monthly posting of PCard transactions into the general ledger • Provide support to other areas of the Disbursements team as necessary

Reconcile credit card purchases to monthly statements and allocate expenses within online database  Code all Telecom invoices for division expenses  Process Telecom invoice payments via Accounts Payable, P-Card payment or wire transfer request  Create and maintain systems for organizing 250+ telecommunications accounts per month  Track all expenses via tracking model for account verification, forecasting purposes, variance analysis and budgeting exercises  Reconcile, research and understand invoices to catch errors and obtain credits  Recognize account anomalies and research sometimes tedious issues in billing reconciliations  Build solid relationships with major account representatives  Involvement in the monthly close process including uploading JV’s and building close models  Analyze expenses for each division and answer inquiries from groups about monthly charges  Assist with capital project (CARE) development and expense analysis  Write Capital Asset Request for Expenditures (CARE) for IT groups and justify needs until approval is obtained from other divisions

Audit and maintain rotable, expendable and repairable inventory  Sustain and audit procedures for compliance  Effectively audit, communicate and enforce inventory control procedures  Develop and schedule cycle counts on all inventory and ensure compliance with schedule  Reconcile inventory counts with data in SCEPTRE and provide monthly variance reports  Audit surplus inventory  Audit and troubleshoot SCEPTRE transactions  Recommend procedural changes consistent with Inventory Control objectives as necessary  Confirm accuracy of inventory available for resale before distribution
