Perform sales team support for the Building Efficiency Group in the Houston, TX branch of JCI. Accepted position with this highly successful partner while with Optimum in order to focus my efforts and bring extensive mechanical, electrical, and controls experience gained over the last 13+ years to owners in my local area. The synergy I've experienced in partnering with this branch of JCI, along with their commitment to excellence and focus of successful outcomes, made the decision to join the team easy. Performed engineering assessments on large commercial chilled water plants nationally in order to develop full mechanical, electrical, and controls scopes with action plan to improve energy efficiency through application of Optimum's relational control software. Over the eight years with this organization I performed over 60 full retrofit and new construction engineering assessments throughout the US and Puerta Rico. In addition to to scope development, I performed extensive energy use models detailing total plant efficiency baseline and post optimization, including project cost estimates and time-based ROIs. Functioned as sales team support territorially and nationally with focus on customer satisfaction and partner development. Our team met sales goals for territory last three years.

Five years experience working with Trane performing energy assessments, optimization programming, and ROI developments resulting from energy retrofit projects

Lead team of engineers and students during a 6 month project contracted through the Applied Systems Lab at UNF in partnership with the Jacksonville Electric Authority. Project included development of embedded DSP driven sonar sounding device for monitoring waste water levels in Jacksonville Fl. Responsibilities included development of RF communications, sonar systems, solar power and battery systems, web based data collection and presentation, project management and personnel development, and proposal generation and funds procurement.

Over 13 years, I provided respiratory services in adult, pediatric, and neonatal areas, both in-house and home based. Licensed and certified in advanced life support for all these areas, including trauma. At various times I fulfilled the role of staff, lead therapist, and supervisor for the department. Left respiratory only after receiving my engineering degree. The experience in respiratory provides me with a unique perspective for the special engineering needs of the hospital environment. I've been able to rely on these experiences to participate in hospital retrofit projects in the HVAC industry. This allows me to bring an owner's perspective to the project that only someone that has the working knowledge could provide.
