Senior Consultant working as Project Manager with a division of the nation’s largest nonprofit and worlds largest Catholic health system to manage the Implementation of the IBM Watson / Merge C.V.I.S., hemodynamic and VNA solutions. Worked as Subject Matter Expert and Business Analyst to document workflows and dataflows, clinical and business (billing, registry and regulations) requirements. Senior Business Analyst, assigned to a major academic medical center to provide systems analysis, requirements gathering and support for system-wide application remediation effort. Co-developed the Application Portfolio System (APS) application used by MMY for application remediation and DR documentation.

● Authored the first version of functional requirements to define direct to market cardiovascular clinical reporting and information system (ASCEND CV).● Led technical requirements and specifications discussion with Product Architect and Technical Program Manager for the ASCEND CV product.● Led and managed the first implementation of the ASCEND CV solution and integration with Cerner Millennium and TomTec.

As part of the executive team and director of cardiovascular information systems, I was responsible for strategic direction, budgeting, project definition/proposal, implementation and maintenance of all cardiology IT solutions for a large progressive university cardiology program and the management of IT and the creation of a dedicated cardiology coding and billing department.Led the identification and replacement of disparate cardiology and imaging solutions and the implementation of a single CVIS solution across all of cardiology. Defined and led the effort to create actionable analytics for quality assurance & improvement, operations, billing and research requirements.Established and maintained high profile vendor relations and hosted numerous site visits nationally and internationally.Member of CVIS network Users Group which was a nationally networked group designed to allow IS/ IT leaders, clinicians and administrators to meet and actively participate in the growth and direction of electronic medical information technology for cardiology and radiology departments.Responsible for the management of the cardiology billing and coding department, staff training and development cardiology IT personnel and day to day activities including support, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting, annual reviews of personnel, new hire selection and mentoring of new hires.Appointed to the Rush Clinical Special Interest Group. As Manager of the CVCU (Cath Lab) I was responsible for the direct management of the Rush University Medical center Adult and Pediatric Cardiac Cath Labs and the CCU Special Procedure Suite and all associated clinical, technical and support personnel (~23- 25). Led the overhaul of the charge capture and coding process for the catheterization lab.Responsible for hiring, staff development, annual reviews of personnel and mentoring of new hires and all day to day activities. Responsible for writing, reviewing and enforcement of all policies and procedures. Responsible for preparation for all accreditation and certification activities as well and IDNS. Responsible for all vendor negotiations and guided product evaluations. Responsible for leading the requirements gathering and design discussions for new interventional suites, analysis and selection of multi-million dollar x-ray equipment, physiologic recording systems and image management systems.Led the project for Omnicell automated inventory systems implementation across invasive and non-invasive cardiology.Led the project for Hemodynamic and Electrophysiology system evaluation, vendor decision and replacement across invasive cardiology.Interacted with executive and physician leadership for all operational needs and initiatives.Overhauled the charge capture, billing and coding process for the cardiac catheterization laboratories.Established and managed a cardiology specific coding department for the section of cardiology.

Augmented the supervisory efforts for daily activites to run an Adult and Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology lab. Provided emergency call assistance.
