Consulting - As an independent Loss Prevention Consultant focused solely in the in the Vending/Food Service/Micromarket Industry the last sixteen years, I developed a trademarked program The Culture of Controls: Training -Technologies -Tools & Tactics in the trenches in over 70 operations in 27 states. The powerful bottom-line success is well documented as I have investigated, interviewed, interrogated and terminated and/or refereed for prosecution countless hundreds of dishonest employees, from the entry level to senior management and every position in-between. Seminars - A speaker/trainer with a motivational flare to educate and entertain audiences at NAMA, SEVA, ACE, TRI State, state conventions, and company seminars. Writing - The author of 23 serials in the bi-monthly industry magazine Vending & OCS titled, The Loss Prevention Chronicles from 2004 to 2009. The serial was based on my consulting engagements, but was also a Loss Prevention Bully Pulpit, with occasional social/political commentary (or smart-alecky remarks) slipped in. I also wrote the Retail Ride, a 13 part serial published in Loss Prevention & Security Journal in 2002/3 (on my website) based on a two year investigation involving federal, state, and local agencies I was deeply involved in.
