As a Security Guard at the Georgia Theater, I’m responsible for ensuring smooth operations during live events by checking tickets, managing lines, and overseeing access points for both VIP and ADA attendees. As an Elections Officer, I’ve had the privilege of supporting the democratic process through a variety of tasks, including extensive training on election procedures, conflict resolution, and ensuring election safety. My responsibilities range from checking voter identification and assisting with ballot scanning to setting up and breaking down equipment like Ballot Marking Devices (BMDs). I also ensure all labels are accurate and that the polling station is set up according to regulations. Each election day is an opportunity to contribute to the integrity and smooth operation of the voting process, while prioritizing voter confidentiality and safety at every step.

Organize and manage a dynamic fashion runway event. Make time constricted decisions on venues, runway design, set design, food, music, cocktail hour, and coordinating with the rest of the executive team and club members.

Initiated their online selling program through Thredup and created a earnings potential of $400. Also, added three new displays to better showcase jewelry and accessories offering. I designed new signage for around the store as well as update the window display design. I sorted and priced items for the store at their sustainability center using skills from Platos Closet. I also volunteered at the boutique for an event they were having for their summer campers. Through this experience I gained a greater understanding of the inner workings and flow of non-profits!

Facilitated club communications between the executive team, designers, models, and photographers through GroupMe and weekly emails sent through MailChimp. Ended early due to study abroad.
