Daisy Muñoz is a first-generation graduate from the Southside of Oklahoma City. She earned a B.A. in English Writing and a Master’s degree in Regional and City Planning from the University of Oklahoma, focusing on community and economic development. Currently, she serves as Program Manager for gener8tor's Oklahoma City Investment Accelerator, where she helps tech startups develop strategies to scale in the venture capital landscape.Daisy’s expertise lies in business development programming. She previously worked for the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, where she managed ARPA-funded entrepreneurship accelerators, the Greater Oklahoma City Port Authority, and various economic development projects. At Progress OKC, she organized and connected minority-owned small businesses to resources, supporting their growth through a business accelerator that included technical assistance grants, and a low-barrier microloan program. As the Ward 6 representative on the OKC MAPS 4 Citizens Advisory Committee, Daisy oversees the implementation of 16 city-wide projects and serves as Chair of the Connectivity Subcommittee.Daisy is also deeply involved in her community, volunteering with numerous nonprofit organizations, including OKC Minority Enterprise Development Week, Dream Action Oklahoma, Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill, OKC Beautiful, the Sunny Dayz Mural Festival, and the Red River Community Corps.
