Drawing on my previous experience, my role as Technical Pre-Sales Lead for Government at Esri UK allows me to help customers across both Central and Local Government realise the potential of GIS within their organisations.

GIS expert within the Flood Risk and Data Management Team, City Transport.- Provide bespoke GIS analysis for a wide range of flood and transport projects using ArcGIS Pro and share the results via web maps/apps on ArcGIS Portal and ArcGIS Online.- Design interactive data visualisations, using web apps and ArcGIS Dashboards, as a tool for project managers to communicate key data with a wide range of stakeholders, including for public consultations. - Use FME workflows to process and/or cleanse large amounts of data for various projects across the department and automate these using FME Server.- Lead projects within the Transport Data Work Programme to improve GIS data offerings within the department. - Provide technical support and GIS training to colleagues within my team.

Working alongside the GIS Manager supporting all aspects of GIS within the force.- Assisted in the management of the ArcGIS Enterprise platform.- Created and maintained content on ArcGIS Portal.- Delivered training on the use of desktop GIS (ArcMap) to internal colleagues. - Created FME workflows to automate data processing and increase efficiency. - Lead the GIS Superuser group internally promoting the use of GIS and providing technical support. - Provided bespoke GIS analysis for force wide projects using ArcGIS Pro. - Maintained and updated the internal Gazetteer database.- Published key spatial layers to the Command & Control mapping system.

Working within the Projects team within Geomatics.- Customer facing role aiding in the delivery of key projects both internally and externally using PRINCE2 principles of project management. - Maintenance of the GIS survey plan (using ArcMap) and successful communication with remote survey teams to ensure accurate data capture. - Lead regular meetings with key customers to develop good relationships and ensure projects were delivered on time. - Use of technical knowledge to answer enquiries regarding geospatial data capture.

Collection of LIDAR and aerial imagery onboard a light aircraft. - Increased knowledge of remote sensing techniques and GPS. - Professional attitude to independently work in often challenging operational situations, with a strong awareness of health and safety. - Flexibility working a shift pattern dictated by the weather. - Experience in incident response planning.

A 12-week summer placement within the GIS Team at the Met Office.- Provided support and consultation to GIS users within the office, including the delivery of processed spatial data & bespoke analysis to a high standard. - Assisted in the maintenance of the internal GIS database.- Experience gained using the ArcGIS platform, QGIS, Python, SQL, relational databases.
