Emerging Technology Division -- Global

Played a visible leadership role in accelerating the adoption of Converged Infrastructure and Hyper Converged solutions throughout the World. Responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of the Go To Market (GTM) framework in assigned markets typically in complex, global, and highly critical accounts. Rapidly assimilated knowledge of new products, services and technologies in order to drive enhanced revenue through the GTM framework. Has deep understanding of EMC and competitive technology, and business applications within the assigned market and responsible for translating/applying this knowledge into strategic initiatives. Served as a trusted advisor to partners and served as an internal resource on the GTM framework within an assigned market segment. Often interfaced with partners and EMC internal management to assess business development of our partners. Responsibilities included but were not limited to: * Focus on supporting partner initiatives in the Cloud Enablement markets.* Lead the development and implementation of specific partner development strategies, and produce partner specific sales plans.* Maintain exceptional knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel partner objections to EMC solutions, and train the partners.* Anticipate technology and/or market trends and provide guidance on their application to partners.* Communicate with senior management within EMC and Partners. Provide feedback of business requirements to EMC's Converged Infrastructure/Reference Architecture business unit.* Participate in and present at industry conferences.* Identify future trends/technologies and always be influential in building this into the business strategy. * Work with partners to drive adoption of converged infrastructure including all EMC technologies.* Work with EMC Channel teams to drive adoption of the converged infrastructure GTM framework.

Emerging Technology Center - Global

Company-wide expert in several areas and plays a visible leadership role in the acceleration of the adoption of emerging products, with responsibility for driving the strategy and implementation of technical sales strategies for emerging product areas across the company that result in reference sales. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Support the development of emerging technology world wide seeding plan. * Take leadership for the development and dissemination of technical sales best practices. * Work with product marketing product management and product development throughout the new product lifecycle to ensure that our designs meet current customer and industry requirements.* Qualifies emerging product/technology fit to customer problem.* Collaborates with local account team and channel team to develop a sales execution plan for the emerging product/technology.* Established local competency for product/technologies.* Serves as a visionary by identifying new opportunities for process improvements , standards, initiatives and technology adoption.

* Develops successful relationships with sales team members, partners and customers (CxO executives and technical staff) while support the objectives of the sales team. * Analyzes customer''s business objectives by asking probing questions that are relevant to the customer. Gathers information from customers that enable the sales team to be more effective and responsive to customer needs. * Uses technology expertise to support sales campaigns. Mentors new employees. * Acts as the technical lead on complex proposals; conducts final review, edits proposals and approves technical content. * Uses knowledge and understanding of EMC and competitive technology and business applications to credibly and persuasively articulate the features & benefits of EMC products and their value to the customer. Understands how industry trends, product announcements and advances in technology may impact the customer from becoming obsolete and assesses potential opportunities.
