Over 20 years ago, after finishing my degree in Industrial Design at Long Beach State, I found myself working at a local bank -- speaking with customers about their banking and mortgage needs. I was approached by a long-time college friend, with an opportunity to join the mortgage industry as an Inside Account Executive. I wasted no time, dove into the world of mortgage and learned the hustle needed to make a difference in the industry. Nearly a decade ago, Jeremy and I embarked on a journey with a simple idea, a lot of hard work, and a fair share of uncertainties. Orion Lending’s humble beginnings including the same office space where I started my mortgage career, all working on one card table, has marked a dedication to a vision, underscored by the hustle that's part and parcel of entrepreneurship. Through the years, with the support of our network of loyal broker partners, we have grown further than I could have imagined. Today, as a Chief Lending Officer at Orion Lending, I carry forward the lessons learned on that journey.
