Supporting the development, skills and confidence of junior hockey referees through on ice clinics, shadowing programs, meetings, as well as written and oral feedback.

Along with receiving a Bank of Canada scholarship, I was also selected for a Research Assistant position with Resolution and Crisis Preparedness within the Financial Stability Department. In this role, my work focused primarily on research and analytical work surrounding cyber security policy, and how these cyber risks can impact domestic and international financial stability. I drafted numerous reports, briefs, presentations, speeches on a variety of subjects within the Financial Stability Department. Moreover, I developed a strong understanding of the broader mandate at the Bank of Canada along with the specific work within the Financial Stability Department.

Conducted economic and policy research on topics surrounding economic development and diversification in Canada’s Territories, with an aim to develop and support broader government policy; Produced and analyzed a comprehensive database using Excel, with over 40 variables relevant to Northern Economic Development and Northern Economic Indicators; Presented reports, literature reviews and briefing notes to senior management, along with producing key components of a Memorandum to Cabinet and a submission to the Treasury Board.

Conducted workshops for five to fifteen undergraduate students to engage with and reinforce course material. Prioritized multiple tasks including the preparation of worksheets, resource documents, mock tests, exams, and presentations for students.

• Worked as part of a larger team to conduct research and analysis of data to improve efficiency and lower cost for medical research, manufacturing, and distribution companies; • Produced documents and reports for management, and conducted a cost/benefit analysis of changes in government policy.
