Many of you know I’ve had the privilege of not only working for Spartan Surfaces but to also serve as the project manager renovating the theater in town originally built in 1935. Kevin Jablon purchased the property with a vision of creating a coffee shop, podcast studio, and office spaces; this vision is now a reality. The building was incredibly redone and Kevin’s vision came to life in the form of CoffeeBar which opened in July and tenants occupying the building over the past six months. The CoffeeBar, Podcast Studio, and office spaces have been a huge success – these ventures exemplify what is possible in our local community when the right persons pursue a vision for a better Bel Air. Kevin afforded me the opportunity to lead such a project and I am grateful. In November I separated from Spartan Surfaces but retained my position working on the project at 5 N. Main thru today to ensure a smooth and successful handoff of the property. This marks the next chapter for me and my family; please stay tuned as I launch a new business in the middle of January.My top passion has always been, and will always be, coaching. I have always attempted to not only talk to the talk, but to walk to the walk – the whole person walk required of coaches and leaders. Far too often executives fail to focus on their personal health and wellbeing. The idea that it is lonely at the top often becomes true for many business leaders but doesn’t have to always remain a constant. Executives are people, and people need interactions to better themselves; this is what I will be pursuing in my future business venture. I’m excited to provide one-on-one coaching for executives who want to better themselves, not just their business.
