Led the change into being content marketing focused in the UK, underpinned by the successful introduction and management of a PR agency. I was jointly accountable for the overall EU LinkedIn content plan and by implementing spilt general and localised country targeted plans and creating new guidelines for employee interaction helped significantly increase engagement rates. This in turn helped to generate content for UK eNewsletters, local website and the EU blog.I managed all trade show and event activity, and by increasing focus on correct messaging and positioning, an increase in total quote values and potential yearly demand was achieved.

Helping the business to evaluate sub distribution opportunities and re-seller / retailer channel development. This work helped to uncover a new exclusive UK distribution agreement with a consumer goods manufacturer.

Rugby

I developed retailer co-op marketing campaigns, combining online and in-store activities including POS, displays, in-store events/clinics. This was supported by my successful introduction of a freelance UK demonstrator, helping to increase visibility across owned and retailer digital channels and for in-store events, an approach that helped sales in hitting all ‘launch’ targets for all major product introductions.I was also responsible for maintaining PR relationship with key consumer media partners to launch new products to the UK market.Targeting consumers directly, I created advertising campaigns, region specific social media posts, consumer email communications and migrated relevant external media, retailer and user content to the UK website.

Rugby

I Coordinated activities for European direct territories, supporting the divisional strategy to ensure consistent messaging, branding and positioning. This included working with key EU personnel ensuring local market needs were understood and that plans were fully supported. I Introduced new processes for the translation and production of selected marketing communications collateral across Europe, helping to significantly reduce project times.I was responsible for planning and managing all business unit tradeshow activity across Europe and also managed the public relations plan and agency.

Welwyn Garden City

I was responsible for evaluating new consumable products from suppliers, liaising with R&D and Purchasing and launching these products to market.Working with sales, I developed new pricing and discount structures, helping to grow in-house share to 80%.During this time I also assumed responsibility for the the position of Marketing Executive which included a broad range of marcom related tasks.In addition, I was also the Project Manager for installations of a special purpose machine.
