My academic journey at Cambridge has equipped me with a solid and diverse foundation in Computer Science, and thus I am well-positioned in terms of both theoretical and technical proficiency for a career in Technology.I’ve learnt about securing systems and understand how cyber attacks can happen, taking additional modules in Cyber Security at university and also at the GCHQ-sponsored Cyber Elite camp where I studied both offensive and defensive strategies and successfully certified as a GIAC-certified incident handler.I regularly work with Linux, git and source control. I have proficiency programming in Python and experience with common libraries, and additionally, familiarity with C and C++. From my degree, I have theoretical familiarity with network structures and communication protocols, and some experience working with those on various Cyber Security events. Having worked with many different languages and tools on my intensive degree course at Cambridge, I am able to swiftly pick up new skills and technologies.
