I am a resourceful, well-traveled, and goal-oriented UMass Amherst graduate with experience in editing, production, communications and sales. I have earned a BA in Communications, and in addition, a Minor in Sociology. My career goals include writing, particularly copy, content, or screen, as well as digital design, editing, directing and production. I am open to exploring many avenues of professional writing, such as grant writing. I am open to any work that values a strong writer and great communicator. I am well-versed in politics, cultures, social media, film, fashion, wellness, and travel, but have strong research skills to craft writings in various subjects outside of those. My time in school has given me the opportunities to work with multiple internships. One was working with the nonprofit, WaterFire Providence, as their Volunteer and Events Manager and the other with local media stations, Amherst Media and Easthampton Media, as a Production Assistant. I have also been head of copywriting and editing campaigns for the startup, HandyHostel. On top of this, I have been a freelancer, where I have ghost written blogs, newsletters, and video scripts, in addition to social media content and designs in Canva and Adobe Photoshop. These experiences, along with my past 8 years in the service industry, has made me a confident and exemplary worker in customer interactions, and passionate in creating creative content that matters. I pride myself on my ability to adapt quickly and my efficiency to produce results with high quality. I especially love when I am able to work on and address social issues that I find important. I am looking to work in a professional writing and communciations role involving creativity and impactful responsibility. I am always open to freelance and contract work, but desire long-term work for my utmost impact.
