I think my best quality is a mindset polymorphism, which takes the following shapes: • [ Business Analyst mindset ] => acquired at university. Gives me the ability to deeply analyze the requirements, visualize business processes, competently build the application architecture, and identify bottlenecks at the preproduction stage. • [ Game Designer mindset ] => acquired with my indie dev debut. Helps me to better understand flow state and easier assume the role of the user, with the end goal of creating a seamless UX. • [ Quality Assurance Engineer mindset ] => acquired at my first place of work as a QA-engineer. Makes me look at the code from the test perspective (you can call it a cognitive TDD), with the more reliable detection of the edge cases. Also, that experience strongly sharpened my attention to the smallest details. • [ Programmer mindset ] => acquired in the said game dev project (by being the solo programmer) and at my first place of work (by being promoted/pivoted to React Developer from QA). Gives me a SOLID understanding of software engineering principles in general. C++ background intertwined with JS background makes my coding more __agile__. The first one gives me lots of OOP experience with various design patterns and a low-level understanding of computer architecture (memory, processor, etc.). While the second one gives me lots of functional programming experience and a deep understanding of web technologies.
