The project received funding from the Telangana Department of School Education and was supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The initiative aimed to promote community development and self-sufficiency among Rohingya refugees and students.The following steps were taken:1. Establishment of rules for student behaviour and procedures to maintain classroom order.2. Provision of basic skills training for refugee students, including colour, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.3. Allocation of various materials and resources for children to use in learning activities and imaginative play.Additionally, the Rohingya community was surveyed to collect information on family planning, healthcare, income sources, and literacy rates.
