I am a determined individual who is eager to continue to learn and grow as a Data Analyst and as a person, and I am extremely passionate about data. I am currently working as a Trust Data Analyst at the Mead Educational Trust in Leicester, using my data analysis skills to help the education system in Leicester, which is a system I passed through a few years ago.I am passionate about using my skills to have a positive impact, so working as a data analyst at a MAT in Leicester allows me the opportunity to help the education of students in Leicester, which is an experience I know well having been educated from Pre-School all the way to Masters Level, all in Leicester.I worked numerous retail jobs and volunteered as a data analyst at my Family’s small business to help gain valuable experience, as I achieved a First-Class BSc Economics degree with honours, before going on to achieving an MSc Data Analytics degree, passing with Merit.I am a data analyst skilled in SQL and R, with some Python experience, with heavy experience in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, along with Tableau and RStudio, having previously also utilised SPSS along with SAS and Oracle programs.I am passionate about statistics and deriving value and insights from data, with a drive to make a real positive impact and change via the use of data analysis. I have worked on projects ranging from improving the predictive Expected Goals Model used in football globally, where I created numerous variations of a logistic regression model, to building a Gravity Model of International Trade, with resemblance of Newton's Law, to analyse the impact the Financial Crisis of the late 2000's had on UK exports and subsequently UK economic growth.
