Analyzing existing processes and implementing improvements by streamlining the Domestic and Imports Brokerage business units for CEVA Logistics which have resulted in annual savings of more than $250K. Some of the initiatives are: Implementation of control towers for tracking domestic shipments, changes in TMS system to provide accurate tracking of shipment milestones, setting up new reports in TMS system for better shipment visibility, setting up communication platform to resolve issues with different CEVA US stations during monthly invoicing closeouts.Identify operations metrics and Key performance indicators (KPIs) for Domestic, Imports, Breakbulk and Intercompany units. Worked along subject matter experts to set baselines values and data source for each metric. Coordinate design and deployment of web dashboard along with IT team to publish these metrics to field operation staff. Data mining and generating weekly reports to provide detailed insight into various KPIs such as local profit margin, movement orders & transportation costs. This data is used by CEVA’s executive team to take strategic decisions such as planning optimal routes, changes of tariff across lanes etc.Continual workflow changes to incorporate the invoicing changes, global air & ocean tariff and exchange rate fluctuations in the form of currency adjustment factors for across around 150 countries for CEVA Logistics.
