Service the underrepresented Sacramento Black Oak Park Community, by providing them with free health services and one-on-one consultations through primary care, specialty, and telehealth clinics. Work to rebuild trust between the African American community and healthcare in America.

Volunteer weekly at a local dementia care center. Accompanied patients during meal times and activities such as coloring, puzzle-making, and games. Help buddies feel less alone, heard, and understood. Plan and lead fundraisers, social events, and the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, as Activities Coordinator.

Travel to local elementary schools in Davis and teach science experiments that introduce fundamental STEM concepts, such as states of matter, properties of water, and aerodynamics, to young minds. Learned how to keep students engaged, explain complex concepts in simple terms, and work with fellow team members in a classroom setting.

Designed entertaining games and taught curious children new skills with art and science activities. Counseled young mindsets to grow stronger by tackling real-world issues. Resolved problems to ensure that camp ran smoothly every day.
