Project Catalyst at Davis

Project Catalyst is a student-run organization that aims to introduce elementary school students in the Davis, Woodland, and Winters area to science experiments. We also provide tutoring to Davis Junior High Students! Project Catalyst was founded because there was a need for interactive and captivating science experiments for elementary school children throughout the Davis Unified School District. Our goal is to plant the seed for a curiosity in sciences in hopes that they will pursue higher education in the STEM fields later on in their lives. Experiments that we perform are influence by the insights from members’ own undergraduate studies, thus providing a more enriching experience for our target audience.
