I am a recent graduate from William Paterson University, graduating with a B.S. in Biology, and also graduated from the Honors College of William Paterson University in May of 2023. I received a stipend from Garden State Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation during my time as a student in the summer of 2022, where I presented my research at the annual 2023 GS-LSAMP conference. I also have been able to get the opportunity to present internationally at the 2022 International Drug Abuse Research Society conference in Nice, France. During my time as a student, I wrote an undergraduate thesis titled, Effects of inflammation and stress-induced anhedonia on various mice genotypes where I focused on how the endocannabinoid system modulates both stress responses and cytokine concentration in cannabinoid receptor-2 cKO mice.I am currently studying Biology as a Ph.D. student at Syracuse University under the advising of Dr. Austin Garner on locomotion and attachment mechanisms of geckos and anoles.
