Plastics / Pipe Testing Supervisor
At Exova Abu Dhabi, not easy to define my responsibilities but in one sentence "it was a One-Man-Show".- Responsible for smooth running of department. - Handling, Testing & Inspection queries within UAE as well as the neighboring countries e.g. Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, sometimes from Afghanistan, Pakistan and India too.- Coordinating with Exova Group labs based in Sweden, UK, Canada and USA for Plastic Testing.- Introduced PE Pipe Weld Testing and spread awareness about the right procedures and on-site problems.- Served (by providing testing and sharing knowledge) many Al Ain/Abu Dhabi Municipality representatives, consultants, contractors in various projects for Plastics (pipe) testing.- Since it was a one man show, I was the only person involved in Marketing of Exova Abu Dhabi Plastics Department.In short, when I joined there was no Plastics Department at Exova UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai etc) and when I left, many eyes were willing to take over :) .
