My work focuses on fostering Global Ties Detroit’s portfolio of professional and cultural opportunities through outreach & engagement with the goal of uplifting citizen diplomacy and creating awareness around global exchange. As Program Director I daily draft proposals, build budgets, plan events, correspond with various partners and develop local program schedules. I am creative and adaptive when producing meeting schedules and developing new partners & resources. I communicate with associates from various fields ensuring I am always cultivating positive and beneficial relationships. Having multiple programs happening simultaneously it is necessary for me to be highly organized and balance all of my projects cohesively. My delegation, collaboration and time management skills have been refined by working in a fast paced company where it is required to multitask at a high level.

As Outreach Manager my responsibilities included recruiting, training and supervising mini-branch library staff; tracking and maintaining monthly min-branch statistics and reports; developing mini-branch programs along with creating marketing materials to promote the growth of the mini-branch sites; and providing superior customer service to mini-branch staff and library patrons to ensure they have positive and informed interactions.

As Communications and Operations Manager my responsibilities included developing new outreach plans and projects to continuously serve and provide STEM education resources for students and families in Northwest Michigan; collaborating with Executive Director to ensure projects, schedules and meetings were properly planned and organized; designing, creating and managing content for all social media campaigns and website management; researching and reporting on the different needs of families and students in each county in our 5 county area; running 10 year Anniversary campaign to fundraise and create more awareness around Newton’s Road new brand and mission; and managing AmeriCorp interns’ various tasks, issues and projects.

As Company Manager my responsibilities included working with Executive Director ensuring all necessary contracts, employments forms and agreements had been executed; daily maintaining and tracking company management budget; collaborating with Director of Production to implement all internal company events and to complete mandatory Actors Equity reports; acting as artistic community supervisor by addressing general needs of company members as they arise; developing curriculum and safety procedures for children attend summer and fall drama classes.
