At University I took up a keen interest in business development, financial analysis and marketing. I was therefore quickly promoted to a senior management role, after graduation at Jubilee Hire. This role focuses upon the organisation of Jubilee Hire’s social media platforms, whilst creating new advertising content and consulting with the directors on where to invest in order to make financial gain and further the business as a whole. Furthermore, I manage delivery operations and marquee constructions. Indeed, I take full control of the company when the directors are absent.

In this role, I was required to oversee marquee operations and train new and seasonal staff. Through my oversight and training, I ensured that the Company’s standards were upheld and maintained at a level of excellence, indeed this further ensured customer satisfaction. This role required a high level of organisation and human resource management; in addition to skills of both communication and leadership. Furthermore, I was also required to organise the logistics and execution of all deliveries and marquee constructions. I had to meet customer needs, which meant that I had to develop, maintain and possess a high level of time management, whilst using ‘local location’ knowledge to ensure deliveries were fulfilled in the most efficient way possible.

In this role, I was largely receiving orders from the management team and by extension executing upon those orders and their demands. I was required to listen and take note of customer requests, which I then communicated to the managing directors. I began undertaking this role at a young age, which helped integrate certain skills such as team work, communication, organisation and public relations. This role fostered both an understanding and a belief that was and is integral to my work ethic, this being the need to pay attention to fine detail, communicate clearly, listen effectively and finally, remain both creative and innovative, whilst ensuring I maintain a good understanding of technological, cultural and economic developments in the market and wider society.
