I engage individuals in both individual and group settings, promoting self-efficacy, personal growth, and long-term recovery.I provide empathetic, non-judgmental support to individuals in recovery, utilizing my personal recovery experiences to build trust and rapport.Offer guidance on navigating recovery pathways, including treatment options, support groups, and community resources.I'm a unwavering advocate for the needs and rights of individuals in recovery, promoting a strengths-based and recovery-oriented approach. I empower individuals to take an active role in their recovery journey, fostering self-advocacy and resilience. I work relentlessly to reduce stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorders through education and awareness initiatives.It's a skill I posses in the development and implementation of recovery-oriented programs and initiatives within the organization.I provide ongoing education on recovery principles, coping strategies, and wellness practices to individuals and their families. I facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics such as relapse prevention, stress management, and healthy lifestyle choices. I support individuals in developing practical skills for daily living, including employment readiness, financial management, and social skills.I track and report outcomes related to recovery support services, contributing to program evaluation and improvement efforts.

I work with clients seeking immediate substance use disorder support in a residential and out-patient setting. Specializing in opioid, stimulant and alcohol recovery as well as mental health services.

I coached 20+ student athletes in grades 8-12. I planned and ran practices and managed tournament participation aiding in rules/etiquette and taught both the physical aspects of the sport and mental strengths to achieve sucessful outcomes.

I represent the residents of District 12 of Waukesha, Wisconsin on the City of Waukesha's Common Council. I was elected in April of 2013 to a 3 year term and re-elected in April of 2016. I currently serve on the Ordinance & License Committee, Housing Rehabilitation Assistance and Equal Opportunity Commission.

Responsible for overseeing and expanding the base of sponsors, donors, and grant income streams through a comprehensive marketing, event and public relations plan.

I consult with small to medium sized businesses in the Milwaukee area on their marketing and advertising needs. I work closely with the Journal Sentinel's deal site and continue to be innovative in ideas to grow our business through social media. During my time with Journal Communications I have assisted business owners with SEM, website design, digital and print advertising, SEO, social media management, deal site promotion, reputation management, direct mail, audience targeting, as well as contesting and sweepstakes promotions.

I've worked with two golf courses in the Milwaukee area. I was involved in all aspects of the business from golf instruction, event management and marketing of the courses to success in a struggling market. I held the positions of Golf Professional and General Manager during this time. I had the pleasure of working with the New Berlin Parks and Recreation department to give instruction to over 120 children.

Hired, trained and retained over 100 employees throughout the years. Assisted in the Grand Opening of 3 new Best Buy locations and was awarded the Quarterly Leadership award and won 2 national sales contests.Managed staff of 10-20 employees in my department to success in sales and merchandising.In 2003 won a national sales contest by leading my staff of 18 employees to success in one of the oldest locations in the company. This win resulted in a trip to Hollywood.
