Sake Base is a sake distributor based in Nishi Chiba. Started by then 22 year old Ryotaro Shishido, Sake Base now distributes sake across Japan and the rest of the world. The company travels to over 100 breweries each year to find the best sake available and learn more about its craft. We aim to spread the joy of sake across the world through careful curation and deep knowledge of sake with service offered in native English.I am mainly in charge of developing and operating the company’s e-commerce website, leading the export business, and guiding corporate strategy.
