It all started with some free ice cream. It was one of those free food events that seem to pop up around every corner when you are a freshman on a college campus during your first semester. There were women who introduced themselves to me and I couldn’t read a single greek letter and had no idea what an “informational” was. But I saw their stories, and I saw who they were. Women who served selflessly, and were giving back to the community no matter what was behind them or ahead of them. I developed a passion for giving back to the community and had the honor and privilege of serving as the Multicultural Greek Council President as well as a 2020 Greek Week Director. Continuing to showcase folks who were never given opportunities in the past, and capitalize on all of their talents. I heard all about people who moved mountains and pushed boundaries, and I slowly started to realize that I was one of those people. But the best part of leadership is while moving those mountains, was getting to show others that they can do just that too. Giving them tools to continue to lead, to grow, and to love - long after I was gone. I developed a passion for leadership, specially leadership that was not perfect. Leadership where you lead by your faults, so others have a chance to understand that they can be imperfect, and still reach the top too. This cup of free ice cream also lead me to serving on National Board for my sorority as the Director of Expansion. To establish charters where my sorority had never been before. To give them a solid foundation and continue to build right into the future. My passion for leadership and delivering results is what lead me to be able to maximize business goals as a network development coach. Building relationships with agents halfway across the country is what I love. Giving them the tools, and the encouragement, to continue to build and meet their business and professional goals. To continue to push the seams of what they thought what was actually possible in the first place. I am here because of free cream, but also because I met someone who care about my story. And your story is good enough where you can impact someone right now.
