Aaron Barrick is engaged in the private practice of law in Castle Rock, Colorado, where he is a senior litigator, owner and the managing director of Folkestad Fazekas Barrick & Patoile, P.C., one of the oldest and largest law firms in Douglas County. He specializes in business, real estate, land use, construction and contract litigation for corporate and individual clients. He has additional expertise in insurance, probate and military law. He has litigated in hundreds of jury and bench trials, administrative and judicial hearings, arbitration, mediation and settlement conferences. He has appeared in federal, state and military courts, and appellate courts. Mr. Barrick leads and supervises a legal staff of about 20 attorneys, paralegals and assistants and is responsible for the daily operations of the firm including the development and implementation of client services, systems, human resources and benefits, marketing strategies and the financial success of the law firm. The firm has been voted as "Best of the Best" law firm in Douglas County in media polls.

Colonel Barrick was a reservist in the United States Air Force and Colorado Air National Guard, rising to the status of State Judge Advocate for Colorado and the Deputy Judge Advocate Liaison to Air Combat Command (ACC). In this capacity, he acted as the senior legal advisor to The Adjutant General and other general officers in the state, with authority over all judge advocates in the Colorado National Guard. He is an honorably discharged veteran and a graduate of Air War College.

Mr. Barrick was a trial attorney for the firm specializing in insurance, medical/pharmaceutical liability, and business litigation for large corporations. He was national counsel for a large supermarket chain acting as lead counsel and also coordinating out-of-state counsel when needed, with an expertise in multi-party litigation and use of experts, focus groups and jury consultants.
