Managed the daily activities of the Office of the Milwaukee Urban League President & CEO, representing and communicating the interests of the President’s office to the Board of Directors, senior level managers, members, employees and the public. Organized meetings, scheduled appointments and maintained President’s calendar; while also multi-tasking and prioritizing President and agency needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Managed all communications from in-person visitors, telephone callers and written correspondence. In addition, keep administrative files organized and accessible. Wrote and edited correspondence as well as press releases, radio commercials, and other communications for the Milwaukee Urban League. Prepared and maintained Board of Directors and Staff contact information. In addition, served as agency support for Board of Directors.Registered President and senior level management for meetings, conferences, and social events. Set up and maintained all databases (mailing lists, membership lists, community lists etc.).Assisted Management Support and Special Projects Coordinator with planning and organizing agency sponsored events and meetings including, but not limited to: Equal Opportunity Day Luncheon, Black and White Ball, Centennial Celebration events, staff meetings, Board meetings, and community events.Designed marketing and promotional materials including flyers, program brochures, information sheets, and forms for the Milwaukee Urban League.
