As a diplomat for over twenty years, my passion is leading and working in great teams to get superior results for the United States. I have just begun a new role as the Stabilization Advisor at U.S. European Command, where I am dual appointed with the Command and the State Department Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations to synchronize and support efforts to prevent and resolve conflict.I've previously led political units in Denmark, Iraq, and South Africa, served as the Foreign Policy Advisor for Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa, coordinated the U.S. HIV/AIDS program in Namibia; and served in Poland and Belarus, using my Polish and Russian language skills.I earned my Masters degree in National Security Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, where my studies focused on stabilization policy, insurgencies, Europe and the Middle East.
