-Operations, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting & repair of a variety of mechanical, electrical &pressurized systems on the world’s largest recreational submarine, capable of diving to 150 ft. ocean depths with 64 passengers and a crew of 3.-Troubleshooting, resolving & preventing issues with electrical components, cabling & devices integral to the vessel’s power generation/distribution, indication/instrumentation, depth gauging, echo sounding and communication systems. Vast experience with electrical/electronic tools & test equipment.-Maintaining materials, methods & repair records per QA/QC requirements. Documenting root causeanalysis, fault identification, repair procedures and replacement parts traceability.-Maintenance & repair of critical pressurized, pneumatic, plumbing & refrigeration equipment used in the vessel’s diving/surfacing, HVAC, compressed air/oxygen and firefighting systems.-Providing technical assistance & procedural guidance to other technicians, maintaining a clean & safeworking environment and ensuring that safety policies & personal protection equipment are a priority.-Generating data & information for the records/documentation used in communication with the U.S. Coast Guard and Hawaii DOT.-Worked regularly & safely in all weather, height, noise & confined space conditions, and extended work hour situations. Experienced forklift, truck, trailer and shop/portable power tools operator.

-Planning, programming, installation, operations & maintenance of a wide variety of communications equipment used in commercial security systems including Access Control, Intrusion Detection & Closed Circuit Television at multiple Hawaii clients’ facilities including the Honolulu International Airport.-Installing, adjusting & maintaining fixed-position and PTZ cameras by Axis and Pelco. Configuring cameras with IP address for placement onto LAN, VLAN and WAN networks, allowing for operation through local VMS (video management system) and/or RVM (remote video monitoring) via internet.-Installation, connection & acceptance testing of Access Control / Intrusion Detection equipment (cardreaders, proximity sensors, magnetic locks, control panels) by RF IDEAS, iSTAR and Johnson Controls.Implementing physical installation & operational changes, client updates and software/firmware upgrades as needed to systems during initial deployment, expansions and reconfigurations.-Served as Layer-1 network cabling specialist, including the routing, terminating & testing Cat5e/6 Ethernet cables to EIA/TIA standards using RJ45 connectors, Keystone & Mini-Com wall jacks and RJ45 patch panels.-Routing, cleaning, qualifying & connecting fiber optic cables to/from network switch SFP modules and fiber optic patch panels. Familiar with multimode & single mode fiber technology, ISP & OSP cable types, ST/SC/LC/MTRJ connector styles, fusion splicing processes, power meter testing & OTDR troubleshooting.-Vast experience with low voltage installation, wiring, function and test, using digital volt/ohm meters &crimp/cut/strip/splice tools & equipment.-Routinely climbing ladders to 25 ft. Capable & comfortable working safely & efficiently in confined spaces, low light conditions & construction environment. Interact professionally with customers/colleagues on site.
