With a strong retail background forming a solid foundation, I have built a successful career in the IT Industry supporting a major retail business deliver tactical and strategic solutions that meet the business objectives. From the start of my career in the retail industry, a deep passion for customer service and genuine care for the team around me, has guided me through a varied career pathway. Beginning with a retail trainee-ship and backed by proven results, I have held many positions in leadership and management from running a department with +50 team members to leading project teams delivering large IT applications and solutions to businesses in Australia and New Zealand. Along the way, I have been honoured to receive industry recognition for my hard work and results including the National Retail Association - American Express Young Retailer of the Year 2006. The receiving of recognition at this level is a humbling experience and has led to a reinforced value of teamwork, dedication and passion to deliver benefits to the wider business and team.
