2023For the ENGG2200 course I had the opportunity to build a drag reduction system for of the NU-16 Formula SAE racing car built by the NU Racing students. The DRS was designed to test the feasability of using a DRS in future. In this project I was given specific parameters to meet and an end goal and the rest was up to me. The end result was a fully functinal DRS That could potentially be used on the car.- Developement of a custom PCB to power and run the DRS system- CAN systems within a racing car
