Perform in all phases of hardware design, development, and documentation. Perform fundamental engineering duties in preliminary designs, performing tests, taking measurements and performing system analyses or simulations. Apply standard practices and techniques in specific engineering assignments and prepare data and documentation when applicable. Perform duties associated with Logistical, Mechanical, Production and/or Value Engineering. Support the preparation of studies, plans and analyses in support of internal and/or external customers and shall initiate and/or participate with customer contacts to refine customer needs in response to changes in dynamic environments. Assist in the planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of solutions for the host of power generation systems, subsystems and products. Provide end-to-end project management support of product life cycle. Provide a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components. Coordinate with the customer and other team members in order to ensure problem solution, appropriate risk reduction, and user satisfaction. Make recommendations, as needed, on test and evaluation strategies for major systems installations. Interface and/or communicate with executive/senior level personnel within the project office and other Government/Contractor organizations on a daily basis. Attend designated conferences and meetings, gather and transcribe minutes, and perform other related administrative management functions. Perform reviews and documentation functions of ECPs under consideration by the Government for incorporation into hardware items and systems to identify and verify all possible impacts the ECP may have on existing drawings, technical manuals and Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTLs). Assist in reviewing and/or preparing Notices of Revisions (NORs) for all ECPs.

Maintain configuration control of documentation artifacts for an ACAT III program to include required documentation to obtain a Milestone B decision. Conduct reviews of the Configuration Management Status Reports (quarterly), Quality Assurance Status Reports (quarterly), System Verification Review, Annual Government Furnished Equipment Audit, and Configuration Management Tracking Tool. Act as the Action Officer on System Integrator contract deliverables: review document, consolidate, adjudicate comments, and provide a recommendation to Government approver. Monitoring of all task and scheduling activities within the Program to enable effective program management through best risk management practices. Develop and maintain a risk management plan, which includes gathering input from the initiative leads to develop and maintain a roadmap, providing dependency diagram, building and analyzing stoplight risk charts and dependency triggers. Ensure best-practices standards regarding task planning are being used for each initiative and develops templates for WBS. Ensure that there is an Integrated Master Schedule comprised of the multiple developments and fielding of systems to support the operations and biometric environment for the warfighter.
