Develops and maintains SAM Forward Campaign prospect tracking system and procedures utilizing Raiser’s Edge. Tracks Campaign progress and totals, including written and verbal pledge progress. Supports Gift Officers in Campaign prospect identification, cultivation, and stewardship, including prospect research and personal assistance to donor inquiries. Responsible for Major Gift processing and acknowledgement. Develops bi-monthly Campaign newsletter content and mailing list, as well as other ad hoc data and lists. Assists in the planning and execution of all Campaign events, and many other Development events.

Supports the external relations division that fosters fundraising and communication activities for Woodland Park Zoo. Assists with the prospect identification, research and tracking needs of development staff, enabling them to meet fundraising goals. Plays significant role in supporting the donor prospect management process; maintains and updates the relationship tracking system; enters contact reports; tracks prospect assignments, readiness, capacity and other relevant information; and prepares various reports. Occasionally hosts donors on behind-the-scenes cultivation experiences and is involved in the planning and execution of all major gift events including registration and attendance tracking, as well as all major donor stewardship mailings and event invitations. Also tracks upcoming donor and prospect next-steps in support of the gift officers’ cultivation strategies, and maintains the department master calendar of upcoming mailings and events.

Raiser’s Edge membership database management, online membership processing, gift donation processing and acknowledgement, and fulfillment of membership packets. Resolution of membership issues and inquiries from current members. Major gift donor research and support for Development staff, including assisting with the planning and execution of all fundraising events.

Responsible for customer service, visitor orientation, admission and membership sales, and various museum event roles. In addition, front desk reception duties including: member data input into Raiser’s Edge software, donation request fulfillment, and managing incoming calls, e-mail, packages, and guests.

Assist in exhibit installation and de-installation, and the preservation of the museum’s collection. Maintained collection files (paper and electronic) and assisted professional photography of collection pieces for publication. Off-site coordination of art handler team during 2011 and 2013 vault relocation.
