As a Clinical Research Associate at Breast Cancer Trials, I apply my biotechnology knowledge and skills to support the design, conduct, and analysis of clinical trials that aim to improve the quality of life and survival of people affected by breast cancer. I have been working in this role for two months, and I am eager to learn from the experienced researchers and clinicians in my team.Prior to joining Breast Cancer Trials, I worked as a Sales Associate at Coles for 11 years, where I developed strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. I also pursued my passion for biology by enrolling in a Bachelor of Biotechnology degree at the University of Newcastle, which I expect to complete in 2024. My academic background has equipped me with the theoretical and practical knowledge of microbiology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and data management, which I apply to my current role. I am interested in opportunities to increase my knowledge and skills in biotechnology and clinical research, and to contribute to the advancement of science and medicine in this field.
