Coordination of the Mornington Peninsula Shire's Long Term Capital and Operating Project Portfolio. This involves implementing initiatives that align annual portfolio goals to long term, strategic goals, and ensuring the budget development process takes into account internal and external factors that may impact the infrastructure portfolio over time.

This position allowed me to take my strategic building knowledge and apply it in the asset management field. It has been a huge learning curve delving into work with asset management systems, asset lifecycle prediction modelling, and data integration. I have since been able to expand my knowledge greatly on capital works and maintenance activities in local government, and just how important asset management is in achieving value for an organisation.My responsibilities within this role have included:• Assisting with the testing of asset integration from Geomedia SmartClient to a new Council Asset Management System. This includes a great deal of organisation and monitoring of data to highlight any errors in the system. • Capturing new asset information. This includes overlaying construction plans in Geomedia Professional to create Geotiffs, creating assets through GMSC and monitoring their integration through the Council Asset Management and Financial Systems respectively.• Strategic asset life cycle predictive modelling through Assetic.• Liaising with multiple internal teams, project managers and superintendents ect. to ensure accuracy of asset data, both with new data entry and cleansing of existing errors. • Working with data analysts to develop solutions to any issues that arise. This has allowed me to develop a much improved understanding of how data systems work and what to look for if data errors or is incorrect. This role has taught me how important it is to venture out of your comfort zone for learning, career development and reward.

This role allowed me to take responsibility for the team's strategic goals and helped strengthen my skills in people management. I was also able to apply my strategic knowledge to assess and approve documents, problem solve issues with officers and take part in leadership meetings which expanded my knowledge of how asset management can positively influence the Organisation's decision making in regards to Infrastructure Assets.

This was a venture with a business partner that I conducted whilst working in various part time roles at the MPS.As part owner of the business, my responsibilities included:• Creation of all branding, the website (www.keltercoffee.com.au) and an integrated mix of digital marketing including Facebook, Instagram and email newsletters.• Presenting business propositions to various cafes. This required catering of presentations and trialing different methods of approach.• Managing customer relationships and developing ways to exceed customer expectations in our service, product mix and proactively providing support for the businesses we partnered with.• Book keeping and account management through Quickbooks.• Organising setups for various events.• Creating and manipulating roast profiles depending on bean origin, density, water content, batch size etc.

Responsibilities included:• Project planning duties as part of various MPS Capital Works Projects.• Conducting of Fit For Purpose Audits of over 200 MPS facilities.• Assistance in the early development of a Community Facilities Strategy.• Using audit data to make long term recommendations for facilities.

Responsibilities included:• Marketing to target audiences through management of mpbusiness.com.au, social media campaigns, local paper advertisements and coordination of the unit’s fortnightly digital newsletter to over 3000 local businesses.• Monitoring and reporting Google Analytics website data and Mailchimp statistics to strategically develop engaging content.• Redevelopment of mpbusiness.com.au, which increased page views by 100% and decreased bounce rate by 15% in a YOY comparison. This was followed by the development of a new look newsletter which doubled the amount of clicks on article links.• Coordination of the FMP Careers and Jobs Expo, an event with over 70 stall holders and attendance of 1800 people across two days.• Organisation of the Small Business Mentoring Sessions in 2016, 2017 and 2018, and Business Workshop Series in 2017 and 2018.• Assisted with the planning and selection of speakers for the FMP Business Breakfast Series with Frankston City Council, Monash University and Frankston Business Network.• Managing public communications with the Economic Development Unit.
