I was responsible for the design and implementation of a broad array of programs and services to provide a rich student experience for the Northeastern University Seattle student. Incorporating the University’s mission and core values, I oversaw the development, implementation, and continued improvement of programs, services, and resources that are aimed to maximize student experience, retention, and success.

Serve as the primary point of contact for learners at Northeastern University’s Seattle Campus. Provide academic and organizational support to students, and enhance communication between the college, advisors, and faculty to improve student retention. The main areas of responsibility are student services, student programming and events, and student data management.

Serve as primary access liaison role to UW programs and professional schools with complex clinical components including, the School of Medicine, the School of Dentistry, Public Health, Social Work and Nursing among others. I work directly with enrolled students with disabilities to determine eligibility for academic adjustments, auxiliary aids and services, work to implement and coordinate these services and monitor their effectiveness for the students, including ensuring that the accommodations are provided by the University faculty and staff. I promote disability awareness and advocacy in the campus community; providing technical and educational assistance to faculty, staff and students to ensure effective accommodation and equal access and inclusion for students with disabilities; including advising on the use of universal design concepts and principles.

Manage the daily operation of the Residential Life conduct program, including case management of the conduct process and student of concern process.Facilitates educationally purposeful conduct meetings with students, emphasizing personal responsibility and an understanding of how one’s behavior impacts self and others utilizing motivational interviewing.

Created a residential environment that fosters social and intellectual growth for a diverse co-ed community of 500 upper class students residing in 4 and 6-person suites and tradition-style double and single occupancy rooms. Managed the day to day operations of 4 residential halls including maintenance and facilities concerns, safety and residences’ issues.Directly supervised, selected and trained one academic year graduate assistant as well as a graduate summer intern.

Assist with continued implementation of the Babson College Honor Code.

Provide programming and advising for the LGBT community.
