I'm Aaron Lam, a passionate student and leader with a strong focus on community engagement, leadership, and innovation. Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in Political Science at the University of British Columbia, where I’m sharpening my analytical skills and deepening my understanding of government systems and public policy.Beyond my studies, I’ve co-founded a legal case simplification organization aimed at making complex legal information accessible via social media. I’m also actively helping expand our team to increase the organization’s impact while contributing to the creation of the Volenti Moot Court Crash Course, designed to prepare students for Provincial Moot Court competitions.In addition, I serve as Vice President of Richmond Steveston’s MP Youth Council, where I lead event planning efforts and foster partnerships with charities and non-profits to make a meaningful impact on our local community. My non-profit work extends to Vancouver Care Packages, where I currently chair the Board of Directors, guiding the organization’s mission to deliver essential care to those in need.I’m equally passionate about STEM and youth development, having taken on the role of Director of Events for the Youth STEM Initiative, coordinating international events that inspire young minds to engage with science and technology. I’ve also contributed to the expansion of Youth2Youth as the Director of Franchising, brokering partnerships that extended the organization’s reach.With a foundation of experience in customer service and leadership roles, I aim to create positive change in every community I’m part of. Whether working to simplify legal concepts, empower young people in STEM, or organize community-driven initiatives, I’m driven by a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and service.
