As an Environmental Scientist at Phoenix Environmental LLC, I have worked on a wide variety of projects including (but not limited to):- Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments;- Asbestos abatements;- Brownfield investigation and remediation projects;- BUSTR underground/aboveground storage tank investigations (including Tier I & Tier II delineations), removals, and remediations; - Surface water collection and quality monitoring;- Soil/Groundwater sample collection and assessment.Throughout my time working on these projects, I've developed skills that make me proficient at communicating with clients and contractors, writing in both scientific and professional voices, utilizing historical references for investigating job sites, and fixing problems both in the field and in the office. Additionally, I've developed effective techniques of collecting soil, water, and air samples for purposes of investigating contaminant presence in soil, water, and air.My position requires that I conduct work in both in the field and office, allowing me the experience to understand the front and back end of projects whether they're conducted in accordance with ASTM, BUSTR, or EPA standards and regulations.
