I'm drawn to the complexity of sustainability. I love that to enact real sustainable change, collaboration between disciplines and industries is a necessity, not just a best practice. I am a strong believer that challenges in any industry benefit from being viewed through the three lenses of sustainability: the social equity lens, the economic lens, and the environmental lens. For this reason, I strive to bring a unique blend of technical proficiency with human-centered organizational management to drive sustainability forward. My background in sustainable engineering provides me with a confident understanding of energy management, mechanical design, and sustainable building practices while my recent academic journey studying management has enhanced my ability to enthusiastically learn and lead in an organization. I am currently working with the Nova Scotia Provincial Agency as a on-site energy manager with Efficiency Nova Scotia. In this position, I work with a diverse group of engineers, project managers, and contractors to delivery energy savings projects to the agency's 3000 assets. This is a demanding role requiring open and consistent communication to manage the various stakeholders involved in government adjacent infrastructure management and renewal.
