I am an IT jack of all trades, currently supporting VMware and Windows infrastructure.At TiVo I am providing A-Z support for thousands of VMware VMs and physical servers, Microsoft domain services for both internal operations and the DMZ, and extending out to multiple customer facing and revenue generating services and products; starting from the foundation of Microsoft AD out to platform support for internally developed, external facing services as well as everything in between. Responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of custom multi-threaded, high performance synchronization and replication processes that maintain customer facing datasets of nearly two-hundred million files combined which I have written in Perl. Pretty much anything else you would throw into an enterprise support role - domain registrations, internal CA and external SSL, DNS etc. Current projects are geared towards increasing stability and lowering product suite overhead in order to drive ongoing cost reductions.Also continuing work in coordination with the IT organizational model to drive the outsourcing of low tier support and converting my internal role from 'Senior Systems Engineer' to 'Senior Systems Engineer, Service Manager' in order to drive corporate bill back for IT services and reduce IT operations overhead across the board.

Designed, built, and supported a full network buildout and migration to a colo facility including fiber service back to the corporate office. Migrated corporate WAN to an ATT MPLS solution. Engineered and deployed Cisco IP telephony in a hybrid mix of centralized infrastructure and decentralized embedded services on local multiservice routers to provide enterprise wide 5 digit dialing and voicemail. Managed projects, vendor relationships and services, contractors, and provided detailed cost data to senior management for capital planning in addition to day to day support, troubleshooting, and security monitoring. Was on the technical aquisition and divestiture team responsible for seamless site and service on and off boarding.
