Throughout my career at Minster Law I have developed myself within the MOJ department to take on my current role as Data/Performance Analyst. Throughout my years of experience, I have gained understanding with regards to the claims industry and MOJ protocols to adhere to, so I may support and train others within the department. My current role involves analysing the departments data platforms which is built within the business and finding/directing opportunities to hit performance and financial metrics. This also involves managing the team with set priorities and targets. My duty also involves assessing customer metrics and achieving customer satisfaction scores. Systems that I also use to assess data include Microsoft Excel, building Query reports within Proclaim, which we utilise for our claims database, and also utilise Microsoft PowerBI. I also monitor Servicetick for our customer metrics. Also within my role I am heavily involved with third party discussions to not only support hitting set targets but also present myself as a role model for Minster Law to potential achieve further contracts.

My position within the store as Assistant Manager meant that I was involved with delivering key targets and also making sure the staff are controlled to help deliver these. I also had the responsibility to take control of the store whilst the store manager is not in business.

As Deputy Manager I was responsible for the sales floor and delivering against key targets. I started off within this role on a placement on the Tesco ‘options’ scheme eventually leading up to me being signed off as a deputy manager in June 2011.

Before becoming a deputy manager I learnt most of my skills as a team leader at the Brayton store. This involved me being part of the management team and I had to communicate any tasks, whilst running shifts, to general assistants within the store.

During my spell at the Selby Branch I held two roles during two periods. My first role was part-time as a checkout assistant which commenced in September 2001 of which I left in September 2007 to gain experience within a full-time role as stated below. I then returned to Tesco for a second spell in January 2008 as a full-time Produce General Assistant which both roles involved supporting the smooth running of the store, support to customers and product supply.

This was a temporary assignment, to work on specific e-learning projects for the Joint Services Command and Staff College (Defence Academy) and the Serco business. During this time I used a range of multi-media packages, including Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Captivate and Sony Sound Forge.
